Who is Link2Bet?

Link2Bet is an Advance Deposit Wagering company owned and operated by EWS (European Wagering Services). We offer a diverse collection of US Thoroughbred, Greyhound, Harness and Jai Alai content enabling our customers to wager from the comfort of their own home via the internet or by phone.

OPENING AN ACCOUNT

Can anyone be a Link2Bet customer?

In order to open a Link2Bet account, you must be 18 years of age or older and reside in a state where wagering services are available. (Individual state age minimums may differ, we comply with each state’s law before opening an account)

How do i open an account?

Click on the “Join- Now” button on the Link2Bet homepage and fill out the application for acquiring a wagering account. You may also contact our Call Centre should you have any questions by calling (US) 888-535-6786 or (UK) +44 1624 698100.

What information is necessary for establishing a wagering account?

You must provide Link2Bet with your name, social security number, email address, phone number, driver’s license, age and information regarding your residency and associated mailing address.

How long does it take to open an account?

The entire process will take roughly 5 minutes.

How do I deposit money into my wagering account?

Deposits can be made via the website or mail.

Website via Debit(Check) Cards / Credit Cards

Preferred Method; Transfer funds to your wagering account by using card payments that may be accessed via the deposit link on the homepage. There is a $25 minimum when using this service; however Link2Bet covers the fees associated with these transfers. Please note that if your deposit is declined, then use the Virtual Terminal as a card payment backup to fund your account. The Virtual Terminal must be manually processed by the call center and may take a few minutes to be reflected on your account.

Website Via EFT/ACH:

Transfer funds electronically between your checking/saving/money market account to your wagering account. $25 minimum and a total daily maximum of $500 allowed. Please contact info@link2bet.com if you wish to deposit more than the daily maximum.   You will initially need to setup your EFT/ACH payments with Link2Bet by providing us with the following information.

·         Bank Address (this must include the ZIP code)
·         Your Full Account Name (as it appears on the statement)
·         Your Bank Account Number
·         Fedwire / Routing Number
·         Amount you wish to withdraw
·         Must have a minimum balance of $50

Bank Transfer

Link2Bet only accepts deposits of US$200 or more via the bank fund transfer. Please email info@link2bet.com to initiate the process.

By Mail:

Personal or certified checks are accepted via mail. Download Deposit Slip and fill it out to be sent with your check. Personal checks will be credited to the player’s account as soon as the personal check has cleared the banking system. This typically takes 5-7 business days. Personal checks returned for any reason will result in a $25 charge to the player’s account. Please makes checks payable to WAW and mail all checks (for account deposit) to:

How much does it cost to place a wager?

While many of our competitors charge their customers for each wager placed, Link2Bet does not charge its customers for placing a wager.

How do i place a wager?

Link2Bet account holders can wager through our website at Link2Bet.com using one of our betting applications or by calling 888-535-6786.

How do I place a wager over the telephone?

We advise our telephone betting customers to have their bets ready before they call the Toll-Free number to place a bet.

 To place a bet over the phone

  1. Call 1-800-836-2153
  2. State your account number (51*****)
  3. The teller will ask for your PIN number
  4. Once confirmed, the teller will tell you the balance of your account

 The format in which your bets must be read out is as follows

  1.  Track name (eg. Palm Beach)
  2. Race Number (Race 3)
  3. Bet amount (eg. $2)
  4. Bet Type (eg. Trifecta)
  5. Runners (One with two three with four)

 This would place a $2 trifecta at Palm Beach Race 3 - 1/23/4

If you wished to place a $3 Superfecta Box at Derby Lane Race 1 – 1234

  1.  Derby Lane

Once you have read out your bet, the teller will read it back to you and it will be entered into the system.

Please be aware that once the bet has been read back to you, it has been placed at the track of your choice. 

It is your responsibility to make sure that the bet that is read back to you is the bet you wish to place.

When can I bet races?

You are able to place your wagers beginning at 9 AM EST each day. You may place wagers up until post time of each race.

Which wagering pools are available for me to bet?

We offer our players the full selection of wagers that you would have available if you were located at the track.

What is the minimum and maximum amounts that I can wager?

Link2Bet allows its players to place wagers ranging from $1 to $2,500 per wager. This is subject to the host track restrictions.

How do I use the Pool and Results page?

We have created a guide to assist our players in learning about the pool page. This video tutorial also shows the players where they may go to check the results of a race. 

How do each of the wagers work?

What confirmation do I receive that my wager has been accepted?

Typically, you will receive an immediate confirmation number once the wager has been placed into the desired pool. This may take up to 10 seconds, however confirmation may be slowed due to website volume, internet traffic or the internet connection with your PC.

How are my wagers placed into the track pools?

All wagers placed through Link2Bet are processed through our licensed Amtote wagering Hub located in Hunt valley, Maryland and then transferred into the host race track pool where it is commingled with all of the other wagers in the same pool.

Can I cancel my wager?

It is the Link2Bet policy to allow our players to cancel up to (5) five wagers in one day and (25) twenty-five in one calendar month or an aggregate of $15,000. This may be done by calling our Customer Service department at (US) 888-535-6786 or (UK) +44 1624 698100. No wager is able to be canceled once a race has begun.

Will my winnings be taxed?

It is Federal law that any wager resulting in a payout of $600.00 or more must be reported to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), if the amount of such proceeds is at least 300 times as large as the amount wagered. Any wager which results in proceeds of more than $5,000.00 is subject to withholding, if the amount of such proceeds is at least 300 times as large as the amount wagered.

Are full track odds paid to winners?

Yes, Link2Bet pays its players full track results.

How do I collect my winnings?

Winnings will be automatically credited to your Link2Bet wagering account as soon as the race is declared “official” and the results are posted by the host track.

How do I make a withdrawl from my wagering account?

 

Go to www.link2bet.com and click on the Withdrawal tab at the top of the screen.
 
Please note that US clients must receive their winnings using an ACH payment.
